The Micropenis Syndrome

While there is no universally accepted definition among the medical community, a stretched, flaccid penis measuring less than 4 centimeters is considered by most to be a micropenis. This condition can be identified in infancy, when a male child is born with a fully formed penis and scrotum that are both abnormally small. Micropenises are found in 0.6% of the male population.

Causes of the micropenis syndrome

Some doctors believe that an androgen deficiency during the development of a male fetus may be responsible for micropenises. Others believe that a fetus incapable of synthesizing testosterone and dihydrotestosterone will develop a micropenis.

Whatever the cause may be, men afflicted with a micropenis suffer from low self-esteem and a poor self-image that greatly reduces their quality of life.

While a micropenis can still function like a normal penis – even allowing the man to conceive children, sexual intercourse is profoundly affected. Indeed, even the simple act of urinating from a standing position, though possible, is very difficult for a man with a micropenis.

And solutions.

Fortunately, there are ways to treat this painful and embarrassing condition. Early hormone therapy is one of the most successful treatment methods for babies born with micropenises. Surgeries do exist to treat a micropenis, but results have been mixed at best. A more effective and less invasive way to treat a micropenis is to use a penis traction device. A penis traction device allows micropenis sufferers to enlarge their penises naturally and risk-free.

Penis enlargement devices

Whether you have a micropenis or you’re just not happy with your penis size, penis enlargement devices and penis exercises offer safe, natural solutions to your size issues. You can leverage these penis enlargement methods to increase the length and girth of your penis (both flaccid and erect) without potentially dangerous pills or pumps.

The temptation for a man with a micropenis to dive into a treatment that holds some promise is enormous, however, any treatment method should be discussed with a urologist first. This is especially true if you decide on surgery, as this is a permanent solution with no “do-overs.” It is also important to ensure that you do in fact have a micropenis in the first place, and not just a normal penis that is slightly smaller than average.
